FilesNotifications

The doorbell has no app; it has a folder and a notification

Someone presses the button. The Pi by the door takes a photo and makes two requests.

The first is a PUT to the files service: the JPEG lands at /doorbell/2026-09-02T18-11.jpg. The second is a POST to /api/v1/notifications/notify with display 1, summary Front door, urgency critical, and icon set to that path. The container's desktop shows a notification with the visitor's face as the icon. Your phone, subscribed to the same notification stream, buzzes with the same summary.

The folder keeps every visitor in order, with a history. The store keeps every ring with a timestamp. Neither was a feature you built.

A doorbell used to need a vendor app and an account. This one needs two curl commands and a Pi.
