The render finished four hours ago, you didn't know
You kicked off a Blender render in a container at 8 AM. By noon it's done. You've been in meetings, then lunch, then a coffee, then deep work on something else. You finally check at 4 PM. It finished at 12:13.
Now: the render script's last line is a curl to hoody-notifications. summary: "Frame 1-240 rendered", body: "3h 47m, 2.1 GB output, /renders/may05/", urgency: normal. You keep a hoody-display tab open in a browser window: desktop or phone, doesn't matter. The notification banners on whichever device sees the tab.
You did the same thing yesterday with a 6-hour ML training run. And the day before with a 90-minute ffmpeg encode. Same one-liner.
Long jobs don't deserve to be checked. They deserve to be told about.
