Agent

The style guide is a command the agent can't skip

The agent writes good TypeScript and formats it like a stranger. Every review starts with forty lines of whitespace before anyone reads the logic.

Agent hooks fire shell commands on session events. In the repo's .hoody/settings.json, project scope, one entry: event PreToolUse, matcher Write|Edit, command npx prettier --write "$HOODY_FILE_PATH", timeout 15000. Every file the agent touches now passes through the project's own prettier config, and because the settings file lives in the repo, the rule follows the code into every container that clones it. Swap in eslint --fix and the lint rules ride along too. Changing a hook takes a single-use nonce from begin-write, and a human acknowledges trust before changed hooks run.

The style guide stopped being a review comment and became a command the agent can't skip.
