The nightly agent finishes at 4am and writes reports/last-night.md: what it changed, what it couldn't, which tests it skipped and why.

At 9am you open a fresh session. A SessionStart hook runs cat reports/last-night.md, and hoody-agent injects a SessionStart hook's output into the system prompt for the life of the session. Your first message: continue where the nightly run stopped: lands on an agent that already knows the migration moved to a feature branch and two assertions were left failing on purpose.

No pasting, no let me catch you up, no scrolling a transcript for the line that matters. The handoff is a file and a hook, and it fires for every session opened today, whoever opens it.
