DaemonCron

Pause hoody-cron while you debug, restart it when done

You're debugging a flaky background job. Every two minutes, the production cron fires the same job and pollutes your stack trace with new invocations. You'd love to pause cron for ten minutes while you read the code in peace.

POST /api/v1/daemon/programs/{cron_id}/stop. hoody-cron is itself a daemon program: the entire Hoody Kit is. The cron daemon halts. No new jobs fire. Your debug session is finally quiet.

You read the code, find the bug, push a fix. POST /api/v1/daemon/programs/{cron_id}/start. hoody-cron resumes, your scheduled jobs pick up where they left off, and you didn't have to touch a config file or restart the container.

This works for any Hoody service. Pause hoody-browser during a security review. Stop hoody-files during a filesystem migration. Every Hoody Kit service has a stop-button. The stop-button is one POST away.
