Your extension's demo is the extension, not a GIF

You built a VS Code extension. The README has three screenshots and a 40MB GIF that already shows last month's UI.

You add a link: ?folder=/demo&id=0&extension=yourname.yourext. That spawns a real VS Code instance on your container with the file explorer hidden and only your extension's panel showing, pre-loaded on a demo project you chose. The visitor clicks through it in their browser. Nothing installs on their laptop.

Embed the same URL in an iframe on your landing page. Each visitor's id gives them their own instance, their own state, their own mess to make. You update the demo project on disk and every future visitor sees the new version.

The marketplace listing shows the extension. The link is the extension.
