A control plane for servers Hoody doesn't run

The agency inherited eleven client servers on four hosting providers. None of them are Hoody, and none of them are going anywhere.

One Hoody container becomes the ops hub. The SSH keys live there and only there; each legacy box becomes a terminal URL via ?ssh_host=. Cron entries in the hub run the nightly checks and backups across the fleet, and the artifacts land in the files service, where the journal timestamps every one. A client asks what changed on their server in March; the answer is a transcript and a file history, not a memory.

The eleven machines stayed where they were. Their management became URLs on a machine that keeps records.

The control plane doesn't need to own the machines it runs.
