AgentSnapshotsFiles

Your agent has versions, because it's made of files

Your agent's behavior is defined by files on disk: skill files, hooks in the per-scope .hoody settings, workflow definitions. You tune them constantly, and some Tuesday the agent gets worse: sloppier commits, a hook firing at the wrong moment: and you can't say which edit did it.

Snapshot the container after every config change, and the question answers itself. Each snapshot captures the agent's entire definition, because the definition is just files. Restore last Wednesday's snapshot and last Wednesday's agent is back: same skills, same hooks, same workflows. Walk the snapshots and you find the edit that made it worse.

You spent years versioning the code that runs in the machine. The agent that operates the machine is made of files too.

You don't version the agent's config: you version the agent.
