AgentSnapshots

The agent's scaffolding snapshots delete themselves

The agent snapshots constantly: before every risky step, after every green test. That's the habit you want, and it fills a container's snapshot list with hundreds of states nobody will ever restore.

So every working snapshot is created with expiry: 1. One day later it deletes itself. No retention cron, no prune script, no cleanup pass: expiry is a field on the snapshot, not a job you run.

The keepers are the exception. When a state matters: a release, a milestone, the base of an experiment: the agent creates it with an alias and no expiry. Read the list a month later and it's exactly the history you would have curated by hand: named permanents, none of the debris.

The history that matters stays; the scaffolding deletes itself.
