The autonomous engineer is an endpoint, not a seat

An autonomous coding engineer is sold as a teammate: a seat, a dashboard, a meter. Strip the theater and it's a function: issue in, pull request out.

On Hoody that function is an endpoint. Your tracker's webhook POSTs to /agent/headless/runs with the issue as the prompt and the repo's container in a header; the gateway returns a job_id. The agent works inside the repo's own machine, then POST /agent/github/pr opens the pull request. You poll the job, you read the PR.

Wire it to every repo and the "AI engineer" stops being a product you log into and becomes plumbing between two systems you already had.

The autonomous engineer is an endpoint, not a seat.
