NotificationsExecContainers

A notification per CI failure, a category per repo

Your CI runner is a hoody-exec endpoint. Twenty repos point their GitHub Actions webhook at it. On failure, the handler POSTs to hoody-notifications with category: "ci-{repo-name}", urgency: normal, the failing test name in the summary, the commit hash in the body.

A display tab on the team's wall monitor is open with web_notifications=true. Failures stack up there with their categories. A second tab on the on-call engineer's phone subscribes to the WebSocket stream filtered by displays=0, so the same failures appear on their lock screen.

History lives at GET /api/v1/notifications/{display}?limit=200. The post-mortem question "which repo broke main most this week?" is one curl. The team standup question "what's red right now?" is one tab.

GitHub emails one builder at a time. The team's display has the whole org.
