One URL spawns your repo in VS Code

You bookmark ?folder=/repos/api&id=1. You open it on a Tuesday morning from your couch laptop. Five seconds later, VS Code is rendering your repo, your terminal is open, your extensions are loaded. You start typing.

There's no git clone. There's no pnpm install. There's no Docker daemon spinning up. The container has been there the whole time, your project lives in it, and the URL is the front door.

You open it again from a hotel laptop on Thursday. Same instance ID, same state, same open files. The cursor is where you left it. The terminal still has your last command.

This is the localhost of cloud development: a URL you keep in your bookmarks bar, a project that lives at it.

The editor is the URL, the URL is the project.
