ExecTerminal

Every lesson has a Show me button

The self-paced Linux course has a button under every step: Show me. Click it, and the commands type themselves: in the student's own terminal, on the student's own files, at human speed.

The button calls a course-backend exec script that drives the learner's terminal over HTTP: /terminal/paste inserts the command as bracketed text, /terminal/press sends the Enter key, and a /terminal/snapshot afterward confirms the prompt returned before the next line goes in.

It isn't a video of a machine the student will never touch. The demonstration happens in the environment they keep using afterward, with their filenames, their typos still ahead of them.

The tutorial stopped playing on someone else's machine and started typing on yours.
