CurlExec
The biggest customer clicks Import, and the progress bar is real
11:02 AM. The biggest account you've ever closed finishes onboarding and clicks Import. Behind the button, an exec endpoint queues 1,400 requests against their old provider's export API as async curl jobs.
The progress bar isn't animated guesswork. Your app subscribes to /api/v1/curl/ws and relays each job's lifecycle events to the customer's browser: 212 done, 213, 214. Every response lands in the curl service's storage under by-job/, where the import worker picks it up.
At 11:31 the bar hits 100 and the customer is looking at four years of their own data inside your product. You watched the same feed from your phone, saying nothing, touching nothing.
The progress bar reports the transfer because it's subscribed to it.
