SnapshotsContainers
The safety net that cleans up after itself
Snapshot-before-you-try is the habit worth having, and the reason people lose it is the graveyard it leaves: forty stale pre-experiment snapshots nobody dares delete. Hoody snapshots take an expiry, in days, at creation. POST the snapshot with expiry: 7 before you rip into the dependency upgrade; if the week ends and you never needed it, it deletes itself and frees its storage. The permanent ones: the template, the release baseline: you create without the field, and they stay forever.
The retention policy stops being a quarterly cleanup chore and becomes a property each snapshot carries from birth.
Take the snapshot every time; forgetting to delete it is no longer a cost.
