The tool server bill disappears

An agent is mostly tool calls. Query the database. Fetch a page. Run a script.

On a function platform, each of those tools is something you deployed: a function with its own cold start, its own invocation count, its own line on the bill. Forty tool calls per turn is forty billable events, before a single token.

On Hoody the agent sits in a container, and the tools are already running next to it. The database is hoody-sqlite at a URL. The page fetch is hoody-browser. The script runs on hoody-exec; the file lives on hoody-files. Forty tool calls is forty HTTP requests to services on the same box, handled by processes that exist whether the agent calls them or not. The server's flat rate covers them.

The agent's tools aren't functions you deploy. They're services that came with the room.
