The team's standard layout, deployed to everyone

A growing team's worst moment: the new hire opens a Slack channel and asks which terminal do you all use? The onboarding doc says one thing, the team Slack says another, the senior engineer's actual setup is undocumented. Two days lost to dotfile drift.

The team agrees on a standard workspace layout. Code panel for the monorepo, terminal at ~/repo, file manager, a browser panel pinned to staging, a second pinned to the runbook. They publish the workspace URL pattern in the README.

New hire on day one: she opens her per-developer workspace URL. The standard layout loads on her container. She sees what the senior engineers see, in the same arrangement, on her first morning.

Onboarding stops being a doc that goes stale and becomes a layout that loads.
