Ship the desktop app to tablets without an app store

The tool is a Linux GUI app your team built for a dozen repair shops. They want it on the front-counter tablets. Nobody wants to write a mobile app, publish to two stores, and wait in two review queues for every fix.

Each shop gets a container running the app, cloned from one snapshot. The tablet gets a URL: ?decorations=false&toolbar=false&floating_menu=false&clock=false&title_show_hoody=false&keyboard=true. Every pixel on screen is your app; nothing on it says Hoody. Tap, pinch, two-finger scroll, and a virtual keyboard for the forms. The shop bookmarks it and that's the rollout.

A fix is a change to the container. Every tablet has it on the next reload, because there was never a build on the device.

Your app didn't get a mobile version. The tablet got a window to the real one.
