Round one, round two, and round five are all still running

A client asks, in the round-five review, what the navigation looked like in round two. You have a Figma file and a memory. The round-two build was overwritten by round three, because staging is one environment and environments cost money.

On Hoody every review round is a copy of the container, taken before the next round's edits begin, each at its own alias: acme-r1, acme-r2, through acme-r5. Copies are copy-on-write, so round two shares nearly every disk block with round one and holds only what changed. Five rounds idle on the agency's bare metal box cost it nothing measurable.

The client opens round two and round five side by side, live, clicking through both. The conversation stops being about recollection.

Revision history used to be a changelog; now it's five URLs.
