The Friday freeze: clients review a machine that holds still

Friday, 4pm, a cron entry fires. It snapshots staging, copies the snapshot into a fresh review container, and moves the client's review alias onto the copy. A notification tells the account manager the freeze is done.

The client opens the same URL they open every week. Their feedback: Saturday, Monday, whatever their timezone allows: refers to a machine nobody has touched since 4pm Friday. Meanwhile your team keeps pushing to staging all weekend, because the thing under review isn't staging. The copy runs on the server you already pay for; the bill doesn't move.

No "stop deploying, the client is looking." No "which version did you see?": the review copy has a snapshot name.

Feedback lands on a machine that holds still.
