ExecContainers
The internal tool that didn't justify its own VPS
You've wanted a small admin tool for two years. A page that lists yesterday's signups, lets you flag a few as fraud, fires off a refund. A weekend's work, except you'd need to host it somewhere, and a $10 droplet to run something you use for ten minutes a week feels insulting. So it stays in your head.
On Hoody, the admin tool is a container on the same box that already runs your product. Same bare metal, same rent, marginal cost zero. You write the script, paste it into hoody-exec, get a URL, bookmark it.
Repeat for the four other tools you've been putting off. The container density is so high you don't decide which ones to deploy. You deploy all of them.
Internal tools stop being something you'd build if rent were free. Rent is free.
