The app you prompted has a nightlife
Your users ask for a weekly digest email. In a request-response builder this is where the prompting stops: the sandbox wakes when a browser calls it, and a Tuesday 7am email needs something that wakes on its own.
On Hoody the agent's answer is a cron entry. It writes the digest script, schedules it in the same container's crontab, and the app acquires a schedule the way it acquired a route. Nothing new gets provisioned; the machine the app lives on always knew how to keep time.
Features that happen while nobody is looking stop being the moment you outgrow the tool.
The app you prompted into existence has a nightlife.
