Terminal

The lab sheet sits next to the terminal, in one URL

Lab 5 is a link in the course page. It opens a terminal URL with ?panel= pointing at the lab's instructions and ?cmd= carrying a base64 command that runs on spawn: cd ~/lab5 && make setup.

The student sees their shell on the left, the lab sheet on the right, and the setup already done. Step one of the instructions is literally step one, not "first make sure you've cloned the repo and run the bootstrap script." The instructor wrote the lab once as a URL with two query parameters.

Lab 6 is the same terminal, a different panel, a different cmd. A student on a tablet gets the same thing with the panel on the bottom.

There is no PDF to download and no screenshot of a terminal to squint at. The instructions and the machine are one link, and the link is the lab.
