FilesContainers
One directory, mounted in twelve containers, on two servers
Your app containers write logs. Your monitoring container needs to read them. Classically this is where rsync loops, log shippers, or an NFS server you now babysit enter the story.
On Hoody, the source container shares the directory: one POST with a source_path and a target_project_id, mode readonly. Every container in the project mounts it at /hoody/shares/{alias}/: including containers on a different physical server. Full POSIX semantics hold across the boundary, file locks included. The source decides what is shared; each target decides whether to mount it.
The monitoring container tails files the app containers are writing, live, as plain paths.
Twelve containers read the same directory, and nobody copied anything.
