NotificationsDisplayCron+1

The pager replaced by a hoody-display tab

Your monitoring container runs three crons: hit the health endpoint, query a SQLite row count, check a queue depth. When one fails, the cron POSTs to hoody-notifications with urgency: critical and expire_time: 0: the notification persists until dismissed.

On your phone, you keep a hoody-display tab open in the browser, pointed at that container's display. The display HTML5 client has web_notifications=true, so when notifications fire on display :0, your phone's OS surfaces them as native notifications. The lock screen wakes. Your thumb taps. The display tab opens to the same Linux desktop where the alert lives.

You used to pay per user per month for the same loop. Now the loop is a POST /notify, a tab, and the box you already rent.

PagerDuty was a SaaS. Now it's a notification server and a display tab.
