The drift alert arrives as a picture

Feature drift is a shape, not a number. The alert says the null rate on country is up three sigma, and you open a dashboard to see what that actually looks like.

Skip the dashboard. The hourly cron that computes drift also renders a small sparkline of the last 24 hours to /tmp/drift-country.png, then POSTs /api/v1/notifications/notify with category: drift, an urgency set by how many sigmas, and icon pointing at the file. The notification on the team display carries the chart. The history entry carries an icon_url, served by the icons endpoint with an ETag, so the feed page renders it once and caches it. Low-urgency drift dismisses itself after a few seconds; critical drift stays until someone dismisses it.

You read the anomaly before you read about it. The alert is the chart.
