Exec

The execution model is a comment at the top of the file

Your Stripe webhook receiver wants amnesia: a fresh VM per request, no state bleeding between events. Your session endpoint wants the opposite: one VM that stays warm and remembers.

On a function platform, that choice was made for you at signup: every function gets the fresh-VM model, full stop.

On hoody-exec, it's the first line of the file. // @mode serverless builds a brand-new VM for every request: the same model function platforms run, there when isolation earns its keep. // @mode worker keeps one persistent VM alive across requests: no cold start after the first, and state that survives between calls.

Two files in one folder, two execution models, one comment apart.

The execution model stopped being a platform and became a comment.
