TerminalExecNotifications

Twelve gigabytes of footage, committed like a transaction

The film class shot all morning. The footage: 12 GB across forty clips: has to reach the class container before the afternoon edit session, and the only device in the room is a phone.

The upload is a staged drop. POST /terminal/drop-begin mints a drop id and token, the phone's browser uploads slices sized to the server's advertised cap so nothing ever 413s mid-transfer, and /drop-commit makes the whole batch visible to the terminal at once. Half-uploaded footage never exists as far as the container can tell.

After commit, one more request starts the exec script that builds editing proxies, and a notification fires when the transcodes finish. The class walks in; the bins are ready.

The upload isn't a prayer over school wifi. It's a transaction.
