Analytics without touching the app

Product wants to know which API endpoints the new feature actually hits. Engineering doesn't want analytics code in the request path, or a vendor SDK in the app, or a sprint for either.

A proxy hook resolves it in an afternoon. Matching requests forward to the app exactly as before: same behavior, same responses: and the script fans a copy out to a small analytics backend: path, status, timing, tenant. The app was never modified. The measurement lives beside the traffic, not inside the code, and turning it off is deleting one hook.

The app never learned it was being measured.
