Pairing without sharing a machine

Shared dev environments force a choice: work in the same machine and fight over settings, or work apart and pair through push-and-pull. Storage shares dissolve the choice. Share your project directory to your teammate's container: one POST on your side, mode readwrite, one mount on theirs: and it appears at /hoody/shares/ inside their machine. Same files, two computers: your editor and their editor, your extensions and theirs, your terminal history and theirs. Saves are visible to both immediately, and POSIX file locks hold even when the two containers live on different physical servers.

When the sprint ends, delete the share. Their environment keeps being theirs; yours was never anything else.

You didn't share a computer. You shared exactly one directory of it.
