Each client's containers live in their own Hoody project. The project's statistics page shows what that project's containers consumed on the rented hardware. Finance opens forty project pages on the first of the month and the split falls out of the substrate's own accounting, not a tagging scheme someone forgot to maintain.

The old version was forty separate VPS invoices, each with its own idle tax. The new version is one flat-rate bill for the metal, unlimited containers inside, and a defensible per-client share the client can see the basis for.
