WorkspacesContainers

Switch projects without losing your tabs

You run three things in parallel: the SaaS, the consulting client, and the side project. Each one has a workspace: a different layout, a different container behind it, a different set of panels open to a different terminal cwd, a different VS Code project, a different DB.

Switching projects is switching workspaces. You bookmark the three URLs. Click the SaaS bookmark and the SaaS layout loads. Click the consulting bookmark and the SaaS layout disappears and the consulting one takes over, exactly the way you left it last Tuesday. Each workspace points at its own container, so the work didn't stop, it just rolled out of view.

You stop reconstructing context every time you change projects. The window stack stops being a personal habit you maintain and starts being a property of the project.
