CurlAgent

An agent that calls REST APIs without a single tool definition

The agent needs to call eight vendor APIs: Stripe, Slack, Notion, Linear, the internal one. Classic stack: write eight tool definitions with parameter schemas, register them with the framework, write the dispatcher that maps tool calls to HTTP, write retry logic.

You give the agent one tool: hoody-curl's request endpoint. The instruction is "hit any HTTP endpoint by POSTing to this URL with the target as a parameter." The agent constructs the call: method, headers, json body: and hits curl. The response comes back as JSON. The agent reads it and decides what's next.

Adding a ninth API is zero engineering work. Every LLM was trained on REST API docs. It just needed an HTTP outbound.

Every REST API in the world is already in the agent's tool list.
