DaemonDisplay

The build runs on display 1, supervised

The forty-hour soak test was a laptop in the corner with the lid propped open and a Post-it that said do not touch.

Now the build is a daemon program. POST /programs/add with the launcher command, display: ":1", and autorestart: unexpected. The daemon starts the game on the container's X display; when it crashes at hour seventeen, supervisord brings it back and the program's status records that it did. The display service keeps its saved screenshots, listed by Unix timestamp at GET /screenshots, so the frame before the restart is one GET away, and thumbnail/last is whatever is on screen right now.

You check on it from your phone. You don't need to be in the building, and neither does the laptop.

The soak rig is a process manager and a screenshot list.
