A cart of thirty school laptops, each open to one URL. The URL is a container's display with ?toolbar=false&menu=false&decorations=false: no menus, no window chrome, no way out of the lesson software. clock=false and title_show_hoody=false strip the frame to the app and nothing else.

The lesson page iframes it, so the machine the kids use lives inside the worksheet they're reading. Between periods, a cron entry restores each container from the period-zero snapshot: whatever last period installed, renamed, or broke is gone before the next class sits down.
