Containers

The asset register is three GETs

The auditor wants the infrastructure inventory: every server, where it is, what's on it, when it expires. In a traditional estate that's a CMDB product, a discovery agent on every host, and a quarterly reconciliation that's wrong by the time it's finished.

GET /api/v1/rentals lists every rented server with its datacenter, hardware specs, rental_start, rental_end, and the pool it belongs to. GET /api/v1/pools shows which pools exist, their servers, and who's a member. GET /api/v1/projects/{id}/stats lists the containers on each project with a count. Three calls, a few seconds, and the register is current to the moment it was pulled.

There is no agent to deploy, because the platform is the inventory. There is nothing to reconcile, because there's no second copy to drift.

The CMDB is the API, and it's never stale because it's never a copy.
